What is the UC Student Health Insurance Plan?
UC SHIP is a platinum-level plan created by students and tailored to the health care needs of UCSC students. It provides high-quality, affordable, and convenient coverage, including medical, vision, dental, pharmacy, and mental health and substance use services for students and eligible dependents. The plan features year-round, worldwide coverage through the Anthem Blue Cross network, with access to care at the UC Santa Cruz Cowell Student Health Center.
