Appointment types
This section outlines your options for medical care, whether your needs are routine, urgent, or somewhere in between. Care is available by telehealth, in person, or on a same-day basis for urgent concerns.
You’ll find guidance on which types of care are appropriate for telehealth vs. in-person visits, plus flexible anytime options. Use the condition lists in each section to help you choose the right care for your needs.
Unsure where to start, the 24/7 Nurse Advice Line is free for all students at (831) 459-2591. Students with UC SHIP can also use LiveHealth Online.
If you do not have UC SHIP, call (831) 459-2500 to schedule. Fees will be discussed at that time.
Routine healthcare
Schedule an appointment (telehealth or in-person) for non-urgent concerns. Please save same-day care for urgent needs.
Same-day care
If you’re experiencing an urgent issue, such as a sports injury, severe sore throat, or urinary tract infection, call us first before coming in. Same-Day Clinic visits are available for these types of concerns.
Telehealth
If you have UC SHIP, there are no fees for these visits.
