Students can use their computer or mobile device to meet with an off campus healthcare provider. Quick, easy online visits are available for a variety of common issues such as colds, urinary tract infections, fever, headaches, and rashes.
LiveHealth Online is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 911.
Cost & insurance information
UC SHIP Students
There will be a $15 copay for each visit. To sign in: enter your first and last name, student ID number, and DOB. You can then create a username and a password and add your insurance ID.
If UC SHIP is your secondary medical plan
You must contact your primary insurance and use their telehealth services. Otherwise, you will be charged for the visit.
Students without UC SHIP
Each visit is $59. Your insurer may cover part of the cost—check with your provider.

Go to livehealthonline.com or download the app. Register using the member ID on your Anthem ID card or other insurance. - Connect securely
Use a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet and video to see a doctor—no appointment needed. - Log in to view available doctors
They can assess your condition and send a prescription if needed. - Confirm and pay
Verify your insurance and copay. If required, enter your credit card info.
UC SHIP students: refer to your plan for coverage details. - Mental health support
Adults 18+ can consult a psychiatrist or behavioral health counselor online—usually within two weeks. Call 1(888) 548-3432 to schedule.
